A little change!

Okay so I redid the title on the cousins layout and added a few things cause everytime I scrolled past that layout it bothered me. I think I like it a lot better now!

Winter Kick

Okay so I am on a roll with winter pictures! I found these pictures in my box and thought it would be fun to scrap our first Christmas together. These pictures were the only ones taken so I wanted to make sure and get the page done. I can't believe that this December will be our 7 year anniversary. That is CRAZY! Time has flown by, especially these past 2 years, and I couldn't be happier. I am married to the best man! :)

Used: see layout below! plus red gingham ribbon and always artichoke!

Snow Layout

I love these pictures! It made me miss the snow but then when my sister-in-law told me it was 50 degrees in Utah I remembered how cold the snow is and then I was okay! I do miss my family but that is a given. Especially since we won't be going home for Christmas this year. I have never had a Christmas away from them so this will be a first.
I used the retired "All the Trimmings" scrappin kit. These kits are so FUN!

Colors used: Real Red, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue and Whisper White. Red grosgrain ribbon.

3 x 3 Be Merry

I love 3 x 3 cards! I thought this one turned out really cute. It was SO easy to make. This would be quick and easy for little cards to put with the goodies you make your friends for the holidays. I gave a pack of these to Cindy for part of her hostess gift. I used the in the spotlight stamp set which I find myself using almost ALL the time. It is such a fun set!

Colors used: Wild wasabi, purely pomegranate, bashful blue, and whisper white.

Cousins & Friends Layout

I did this layout of the girls and their cousins, Cora and Jess, that just moved to Denton. (Obviously these pictures were taken 2 years ago!) The girls love to play together on the weekends when we make a trip. I used the "Just Delightful" simply scrappin kit that was last years sell-a-bration promotion. I am SO looking forward to when they do the promotion this year. I don't know when it will be but will let you all know when I do!
Colors used: Cameo coral, bashful blue, so saffron and certainly celery and whisper white. Stamp sets: letterpress and big deal alphabets.

Kindergarten layout

This layout was for Claire's first day of kindergarten. She was so excited for the first week of school but now she cries when she leaves me in the morning. It is so hard to watch her cling to me and cry when she has to go to school. I know this will pass and she will adjust but it has been very hard. I just love these pictures. What a sweetheart!

Used: Sherbert ribbon originals, scrapbooking diamond jewels, 5 petal flower and photo corner punches. Soft sky designer series paper, soft sky, cameo coral and whisper white ink and cardstock. Priceless and letter press alpha stamp sets.

Christmas card

This is a Christmas card I will be demonstrating at Cindy's party this Saturday. I played around for a while and I think I am finally happy with my finished product....I think! :)

used: bashful blue, pretty in pink, wild wasabi, real red and whisper white cardstock and ink. WW double stitched grosgrain ribbon and hodge podge hardware (pewter). Snowfall and in the spotlight stamp sets.

Winter 2003 Page

I got the idea for this page from Lindsey's link to Beate's blog (http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/). She did a darling page of summer with different colors. I changed the colors and a few things and this is what I came up with. I am very excited with the result. This gal Beate has some darling stuff on her blog. And of course we all get inspritaion from Lindsey! : ) Anyway, hope you like it!

Used: so saffron ribbon from sherbert ribbon originals, hodgepodge hardware. Slit, scallop, photo corner and 1 3/8 punches.
Soft sky, always artichoke, so saffron and whisper white cardstock and ink. Pick a petal, warm words, in the spotlight and big deal numbers stamp sets.

September Layout

This is the layout for the September Stamp Club! The flowers are made with little scraps of paper folded in half for the petals. I thought this was a fun and simple summer layout.
Used: Bashful blue, purely pomegranate, and wild wasabi stamp pads and cardstock. Whisper white card stock. Jumbo outline alpha and in the spot light stamp sets. 1/2 inch circle punch.

I did it!

Well, I have finally succumbed to everyone around me telling me I should have a blog. Although this is obviously my scrapbooking one, the family one will come later. I have wanted to do a blog for a while now and since I already take pictures of my projects and e-mail them to my sister and Linsdey I figured I might as well post them on a blog! I am really excited and thanks for lookin!
